*Music History and Inspiration Behind the Music*
Robert Goodman has been entertaining since
his first vocal solo performance at age 6. His
influences of artists from the late 60's to
present has inspired Goodman with a unique
gift of songwriting that makes his music
timeless blending the genres of Progressive
Jazz, Rock and R&B.
His solo and band performances in LA,CA.
Atlanta, GA and his home state of Florida have
filled audiences with energy, emotion, and well
being. In the 80's he started a band " the
Young Moderns", where his lyrical content
focused on world peace, protecting   
environment, stopping poverty and promoting
personal freedom.  In the early 80's Goodman
had the opportunity to be a performer as a
keyboardist in two of Barry Gibb's  solo effort
post " Saturday Night Fever" music video
which Aired on MTV ("Shine-Shine"- the single
released & produced by GREENBACK
Productions of London, UK.) Goodman did
studio vocal work, co-writing projects and
regional TV music productions for special
programming which all won Fla. Emmy's.
His band, the Robert Goodman Band,
Is bringing to the next level. Their past Trio CD
" BACK HOME" dedicated like all the bands
CD's to the times we live in and a hope for real
peace.
